Resort 2013: Thom Browne

For those of us who prefer the well-put-together style of dress, Thom Browne delivers a strong, preppy collection for Resort ‘13. His colorful madras, whale prints, and neat stripes sit upon feminine silhouettes that accentuate the woman’s physique. Oversized collars add a new twist to outerwear, and the peplum continues to flatter (this time, with pleats). His pieces are certainly cohesive as each look dawns the models. However, I can see myself pairing the sheer charcoal blouse with pastel denim, and adding a simple stark-white tee with his jacquard pants and sandals. Perfect!
